Great value July 4, 2010 D. Sanders (Port Charlotte, FL) My little grandson has to wear an eye patch six days a week. These Nexcare Junior patches are a great value for the money. In the local drugstores, they retail for approimately $9.00 per box! I will definitely order this product again.
18 month old with lazy eye May 18, 2010 D. Lester (Blaine, TN, US) This product is a great size for little ones but lacks in sticking power. My 18 month old grandson can pull off fairly easy. He is not very active so I am able to watch him pretty close to make sure he dosen't pull it off for the 2 hrs a day he has to wear it.
not great for toddlers January 2, 2010 Mrs. Julia E. O'reilly (Mahwah, NJ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I tried to use this product on my 14 month old who has strabismus in both eyes. The eye doctor wants us to patch each eye alternately for 2-3 hours. It was a struggle to get the product onto my daughter's eye, and once it was in place it did NOT stick well at all. She was able to pull it off herself in a matter of moments. I feel I wasted my money on a product that will not serve me. However, it will probably work well on older children who don't fight it as much. For my daughter, I have found that the coverlet brand works much better...it is stickier so she cannot just pull it off.
Nexcare Patches June 11, 2008 GCV08 (Madison, WI USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have purchased the Nexcare brand Opticlude patches for a little over 2 years now. Our daughter has sensative skin and had developed a rash with other brands. This brand works well for her and doesn't leave the sticky residue from the patches. The price for these patches are great through Amazon versus buying one box in the store. I would recommend these patches for children.
Good product May 27, 2008 S. Brown 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My child has amblyopia ("lazy eye") and the doctor said she needs to patch her good eye in order to make the weaker eye work harder and make it stronger. I have used these eye patches and they seem to work well. I try to use each eye patch twice (about two hours each day.) The patches are thin so they work well with being able to wear her glasses over them.
